The History of the College

Midwestern Baptist College is first and foremost a Bible College. In keeping with the Bible College concept, the curriculum provides for thorough study of the Bible including the complete doctrinal and theological position of the fundamental Christian faith plus a general education in the liberal arts.
Dr. Tom Malone, Sr. founded Midwestern Baptist College in 1953. The college is in fellowship with independent Baptist churches. Midwestern Baptist College graduates are now serving in almost every state in the union and in several foreign countries as pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and Christian school teachers.
The faculty members are well trained, dedicated Christians who have a genuine love for and interest in each student.

Location and Facilities
Midwestern Baptist College is located on 55 acres of land in the southwest corner of Pontiac, Michigan.
The main building on campus, Malone Senior Hall, is the classroom and administration building. Contained in this building are various offices of the college as well as the classrooms and gymnasium.
The dormitory, John R. Rice Hall, is divided into two sections, one for the men students and one for women students. The rooms in the dormitory are spacious.
